What if the job search process could be... fun?
Job search and fun in the same sentence?! I know - it’s a wild concept. But before you call me CrAzY, hear me out.
Many of the individuals I work with come to me in a not-so-great place. They’ve been laid off, have an a**hole for a boss, are feeling defeated by knowing they’re not reaching their full potential… you know the drill. There’s a lot of negative, soul-sucking energy, and it’s not a very pleasant place to be.
Unlike other career coaching systems (cue: here’s your new resume, good luck out there!), my system has a strong foundation of interpersonal work. After processing the tough stuff, we move into self-exploration and whole-human integration, which is where the fun begins!
Using my structured workflow, clients are invited to zoom out and shift into a mindset of openness, play, and curiosity. This is not an insignificant amount of work on both sides, but clients tell me this is their favorite part of our work together. There are usually a lot of ‘ah-ha!’ moments and belly laughs. For the growth-oriented individual, it’s truly a blast.
So yes, the job search process can be FUN! Clients not only look forward to our sessions, but they leave our work together with more energy and confidence. They have a greater awareness of who they are, what motivates them, what they bring to the table, what they need to thrive, a game plan, and tools to get where they want to go. It’s a good time AND it gets results. Win-win.
If you’d like your job search to feel more like a joy than a grind, we might be a match!
